The portal was carefully planned and structured to allow for the growth of information and operational tools among employees of Birmingham City Council. The intranet was built and styled to allow it to be easily manageable for staff members—whilst keeping a modern visual appeal. Specialist skills or code typing are not required to edit or update the site—including adding interactive elements, images, video and sharing documents.
